Hey, I’m Irena—founder of Dance Activity Retreats and your host! I’m passionate about dance, culture and creating memorable experiences for people who love to explore new places just as much as they love to dance. I lived and worked in Morocco for years, co-owning an award-winning surf and yoga hostel in Tamraght. That experience taught me the joy of bringing people together and showing them the beauty of this region through adventure and connection.

Now, I’m combining my love for travel, culture, and dance into various holidays and retreats for avid dance enthusiasts or first-timers wanting a safe, creative and fun space to reconnect with themselves, their love of life, and explore this passion with new like-minded friends. Morocco is close to my heart, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Meet Clément L-K, a seasoned Brazilian Zouk instructor with over a decade of teaching experience in Paris and around the world. Founder of the Zouk Inspiration community in 2015, Clément is known for his innovative approach to dance pedagogy, emphasising creativity, diversity, and respect for the body.

His passion for Zouk has taken him on a global journey, training with renowned dancers and exploring diverse styles like RioZouk, NéoZouk, MZouk, LambaZouk, and Flow. In Paris, Clément continues to refine his unique concept, the “Natural Way,” which combines a deep respect for tradition with a fresh perspective. At the retreat, Clément will share his expertise and inspire participants to explore Zouk in a new way.

Nathalie Marina’s dance journey began with classical ballet and modern contemporary styles, shaping her deep connection to movement and expression. In 2017, she discovered Brazilian Zouk and was captivated by its fluidity and the dynamic partnership it fosters. For Nathalie Marina, Zouk became the perfect blend of creativity, flow, and co-creation.

She has trained with master instructors across Europe and Brazil, developing a teaching style rooted in exploration and playfulness. Nathalie Marina’s passion lies in sharing the wisdom she’s gathered through her ongoing journey as a dancer. At the retreat, Nathalie Marina will lead Zouk and contemporary dance sessions that inspire participants to embrace movement with joy and creativity.

Salah’s love for dance began at age 12 in Morocco, where he explored urban styles and hip-hop. His journey took a transformative turn in 2011 when he discovered salsa in France, performing with the renowned dance company Omele at major European congresses. By 2013, Salah transitioned into teaching, sharing his passion for Latin social dances.

In 2018, Salah founded his own dance school in Morocco, where he continues to teach Afro-Latin styles with a unique blend of technical expertise and creative pedagogy. With 10+ years of teaching experience, Salah brings energy, innovation, and a deep love for dance to every session. At the retreat, Salah will guide participants through Afro-Cuban rhythms with his signature approachable style.
