What experience do you have in tourism?
I was the co-founder of an award-winning hostel where almost every single review was 5 stars. I created the hostel from scratch and built it up to being featured in Lonely Planet and winning multiple awards (most notably Best Hostel in Morocco & 2nd Best in Africa). Across my time there, I kept building upon and expanding it based on customer feedback, adding single-day and multi-day excursions, regular events, daily exercises classes, cooking workshops and more. My approach is dynamic and fun, and allowed me to create the kind of business I wanted, as well as keeping my guests extremely happy and many returning.
Since then, I have worked in-house in a marketing agency dedicated to hospitality and food-service businesses where I worked on many aspects of these business’ marketing. I helped with everything from internal and external branding, social media, email marketing, events marketing and customer review management. I have been dedicated to hospitality and tourism across various areas for over 8 years.
All that to say I understand what is required to build a strong customer and guest experience.
